Unfreeze the pipes.

You have been holding a lot of things in for a long time. Some things you have never spoken about out loud.

That stuff is locked up in your spirit similar to water freezing in a pipe.

There's a reason they tell us to keep the faucet dripping during the freeze warning. If left closed, the water freezes in the pipe, swelling and expanding, trying to get out... damaging the pipes until finally they rupture.

When your heart is frozen, it takes a while for it to thaw. Take the time. No matter how long it takes to get back to your ground zero, take it.

The process of healing (defrosting) allows time for reflection and introspection. It allows us to see what we did right, what we did wrong, and what things just happened. We get to decide whether we want to go through that again or not when the circumstances that caused the freezing our present to us again.

Because they will come again.

But this time we will be ready. This time we will be prepared. And this time we will conquer - because the faucet will have been left open and the water can freely flow.

Opening the pipes has been healing, refreshing, and for some shocking. I hold back more than what people realize. Today I was able to say directly to someone how hurtful it was for them to dismiss me, my work, and all that I have to offer. It has hurt so much over the years. Ok, anyway thanks for all of your post and encouragements.
