Fear is not a motivator, it's an inhibitor.

True motivation comes when we recognize our strengths and areas for growth opportunities.

Fear tends to distort the latter and eclipse the former.

The eclipse leads to questionable behavior and embarrassing (non)explanations for it, i.e., shame.

Leave the shame. Embrace the lesson. And move on with the blessing. And tell fear to kick rocks!
